G. Mark Simpson received his undergraduate degree in History from the University of Georgia in 1987 (with an exquisite sense of timing, he managed to just miss all of the Herschel Walker years). In 1992, he graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he served as articles editor for the Georgia Law Review. In 2000, he received an M.B.A. in Finance from Georgia State University.
After graduating from law school, Mr. Simpson spent several years in private practice in Atlanta, representing individuals and businesses in civil litigation, as well as representing large creditors in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases and workouts. Since 2001, he has focused his practice on the representation of qui tam whistleblowers.
Mr. Simpson is a member of the Taxpayers Against Fraud network of qui tam attorneys. He may be reached at mark@marksimpsonlaw.com.
